A fully proficient engineer requiring professional experience in assignment subject matter or functional area of expertise. Plans and conducts work requiring experienced judgment in the evaluation, creation and enhancement or modification of techniques, procedures and criteria. Devises new approaches to problems. Independently performs assignments and receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. May provide direction or guidance to technical support level staff
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with cross-functional group to identify product requirements that are both pertinent and testable.
Specifically, the role will require:
Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch (Identify and define product requirements)
Write detailed test plans and protocols based on the requirements
Execute tests using in-house software (on Linux & Windows) and hardware
Monitor test progress
Debug and document test issues
Generate test reports
Analyze reports for failures, performance degradation, and other anomalies
File detailed bug reports
Work with design teams to troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve product issues
Design, plan, establish and optimize wireless networks
Bachelor's degree in the IT, Business, CIS, Electronics, or Computer Science field with 2-4 years of experience preferred.
Knowledge of design controls and good documentation practices, maintenance processes, installation, test, troubleshooting and upgrading of medical devices.
3 years’ experience in wireless design and testing or in medical products testing.
2 Years’ experience in a lab setting and familiar with the operation of wireless and wired test equipment and networks in general (802.11, 802.15 and 802.3).
3 Years’ experience writing test protocols and/or executing test cases and writing test or bug reports.
