REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum education required is an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (Bachelors in ECP Preferred) or related field (human development, child and family studies, social work, sociology/psychology, education) with a minimum of 35 college quarter credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related classes. Diploma and transcripts will be required to validate Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education/Related field and to verify EDE/Related coursework * Minimum of one year experience in an Early Childhood setting and must have at least one year experience as a lead teacher (or equivalent) in a Head Start Classroom * Minimum one year experience in a social services field, or home visiting experience * Initial health examination, including a TB screening, and a periodic re-examination (as recommended by health care provider( to assure that the employee does not because of communicable diseases, pose a significant risk to the health or safety of others, that cannot be eliminated or reduced by reasonable accommodation * Have or obtain CLASS Reliability Certification within 90 days of employment * Valid driver's license, auto insurance, OR Food Handler's Card and current enrollment in the OR Child Care Division-Criminal History Registry * Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel EMPLOYER NOTES: * Employer conducts a pre-employment background check and drug screen JOB DUTIES: * This position manages multiple Site Leads and ensures that classroom program operations, staffing and monitoring are carried out effectively and assists in coordinating the program's staff development activities. This position ensures that classroom/site based monitoring is completed and uses this data to promote quality services and compliance with regulations. This position coordinates the completion of CLASS observations and follow-up consultations according to program work plans in partnership with other regional manager. Provides CLASS and monitoring data to inform the program's training and staff development plan. The position is supervised by the Manager of Education and Quality.
