WorkSource Oregon Domestic Violence Advocate in CAVE JUNCTION, Oregon
The advocate will provide short-term crisis intervention, assessment, safety planning, and referrals to domestic violence survivors and their children onsite and at the Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Welfare and other community partners as requested. Duties may include Direct Services, Maintain Statistics, Community Awareness, Prevention Activities, Outreach to Underserved Populations, Administrative Duties, and Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: The candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Outlook). The candidate must be able to work effectively in a nonprofit environment, work independently and with others, maintain confidentiality and be able to work in a busy office with interruptions and multiple priorities. Some evening and rotating weekend work will be required. Candidate must be willing and able to travel. The successful candidate must embrace the principles of social justice and work to end all oppressions.
