MINIMUM / REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience (paid or volunteer), supporting community programs that serve children, youth, or adults OR Associate Degree and one year of work experience (paid or volunteer) which must be working in youth development programs, adult education, teaching, program delivery or related functions AND Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated skill to work with diverse audiences. Demonstrated skill to use computers for word processing, data management, and communications. Additional Required Qualifications Experience working in support of a youth program serving grades K-12 including direct interaction with participants. Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and meet timelines. Ability to work independently. Current, valid Adult CPR and AED Essentials and First Aid certifications by start date of position. Rock Climbing certification by start date of position. Position Duties 50% Educational Delivery 30% Program Assistance 20% Records and Reports The Camp Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out the duties of this position in support of the OSU KidSpirit Program in an environment that is safe, exciting, and challenging for the youth and the staff. The Camp Coordinator will oversee and evaluate daily operations of KidSpirit programs on and off campus. Duties will include oversight of staff, as well as scheduling and training of student staff and volunteers. This position is responsible for delivering quality customer service and presenting a positive representation of KidSpirit programs.
