Minimum Qualifications Three years of office experience which included two years at full performance level and experience generating documents; and Lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures. Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work with people in high-stress situations. Experience using MS Office applications and databases. Ability to make decisions independently and work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Ability to quickly navigate campus and buildings independently in all weather conditions. Position Duties 60% ALTERNATIVE TESTING PROGRAM COORDINATION Establish and maintain a working relationship with individual students, staff and faculty in the provision of alternative testing services. Coordinate logistics of the alternative testing center, including but not limited to: use of DAS database to schedule time for students to take an exam with the appropriate accommodations (i.e. extra time, technology, scribe, etc.), schedule proctors to monitor exams, as well as the pick-up and delivery of exams. Responsible for monitoring procedures to ensure the academic integrity of exams and DAS testing center. Identify and proactively resolve issues that may affect students' access to taking exams. Strong attention to detail to ensure exam instructions are accurate for each exam. Ability to respond calmly to difficult situations in a fast-paced environment. Operate and train students on assistive technology in the testing center. Understand and explain department and university policies and procedures regarding accommodations. Maintain appropriate records in order to respond to ADA or 504 complaints.
