Minimum/Required Qualifications Minimum of three years comparable professional experience. Demonstrated ability to: Appropriately handle highly sensitive and extremely confidential material/information. Be particularly attentive to detail and accuracy. Organizational systems and efficiencies Position Duties 100% Duties: Assist with event planning and event staffing, including communications, meeting rooms, catering, meeting materials, invitation management, and other logistics. This includes a variety of events over the course of the year. In particular, this position will provide event planning and staffing services for Commencement. Occurring each June, Commencement is one of the University's most visible and noteworthy events. The ASC will provide support services to the Commencement Planning Committee over the course of winter and spring and will work during the event each June. Assist with personnel processes and paperwork, including support of the University Promotion and Tenure process, generation of Emeritus Letters, etc. These processes are highly confidential and require specific attention to detail and accuracy. Assist with presentation preparation as necessary, including use of PowerPoint. Assist with travel arrangements and reimbursements for executive administrators and assistants in the Offices of the Provost and Academic Affairs, including determining most appropriate itinerary according to professional and personal requirements, preparing all documents prior to and following travel, securing airline reservations, lodging, registration, and other logistical needs, and coordination of details at meeting site, as well as travel and expense reimbursement requests.
