The HRIS Specialist is responsible for completing the core day-to-day HR transactional processes for both employee and contingent workers in the HRIS systems. They play a key role in the employee onboarding and provisioning process to ensure a positive, timely and efficient experience. Responsible for auditing and troubleshooting data quality issues to ensure the accuracy of worker data. Able to manage multi-task workload and meet service level agreements with high degree of timeliness and accuracy.
Transactional Processing: Process personnel change forms, including but not limited to, onboarding requests, terminations, cost center changes and organization movement and I-9. Enter/update HR data with a high degree of accuracy and maintaining employee confidentiality. Understand end to end HR operational processes and impacts and collaborate with key partners to clarify or obtain missing information. Perform data quality audits for accuracy and completeness.
Customer Service: Provide partnership and support to managers, employees, IT, Payroll and internal HR customers to troubleshoot issues and resolve simple to moderately complex problems for customers.
Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation and make recommendation for improvements.
Other Duties as Assigned: Assists with HR projects, performing duties such subject matter expertise, documentation/procedure development and testing execution.
Education: Bachelor’s preferred, or combination of equivalent work experience and education considered.
3+ years of experience in managing data with a focus on data integrity, with at least 1 year of HR system experience preferred.
Demonstrated analytical and communication skills required.
Maintains a positive approach to customer service; has a high level of discretion and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Demonstrated ability to resolve issues quickly with the ability to prioritize work, working under strict deadlines. Attention to detail is critical.
Works well in a team environment, including assisting other team members as necessary.
- Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
