This position will back up for all supervisory responsibilities and assists the supervisor in monitoring unit performance relative to key objectives. Provides on-going technical support and training for unit. Responsible for sensitive group and renewal implementation process. Primary Functions:1. Identifies, develops and conducts unit training needs on an individual or group basis. Provides back up supervisory support as needed.2. Assists Coordinators in problem solving and problem resolution. Provides on going technical support to unit and acts as a liaison with other departments.3. Coordinates new group set up for more complex accounts to include, but not limited to, assuring accuracy of group application, rates, benefits, billing arrangements, assigning Billing & Eligibility Specialist, creating first billing statement.4. Tracks and monitors all components of the new business set up to ensure turn around times are met by unit.5. Performs quality control processes to ensure accurate set up of new accounts.6. Reports new business turnaround and quality components to affected areas on a regular basis.7. Facilitates meeting regarding business set up with appropriate departments.8. Assists in updating unit policies and procedures.9. Handles special projects and assignments as determined by Management.10. Other duties as assigned.Are you ready to be a betterist? Required Skills

  1. High School diploma or equivalent. College degree helpful.

  2. At least 2 - 4 years experience in health insurance industry, exceeding all levels of performance.

  3. Computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications, to include Microsoft Project.

  4. Typing proficiency of 35 wpm and 10key proficiency of 135 spm.

  5. Ability to train others and present information in a well thought out and easily understood manner.

  6. Ability to instruct, motivate and direct individuals at various skill levels, face to face and in the classroom environment.

  7. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  8. Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to learn through reading materials.

  9. Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.

  10. Ability to lead and facilitate meetings.

  11. Ability to work well under pressure, frequent interruptions and shifting priorities and demonstrate professional leadership qualities.

  12. Ability to come in to work on time and on a daily basis.
