Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse Manager - Cardiac Multidiscipline in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Manager to the Cardiac Multidiscipline team at Mother Joseph Plaza in Portland, OR.

This is a full-time exempt position with a Monday-Friday day shift schedule, based at our Providence Medical Group location near Beaverton, Oregon.
In this position, you will:
Provide on-going leadership and management of a section of multi-disciplinary specialty clinics and services within the acute care hospitals, through the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure the cost-effective and quality day-to day operations of multiple clinics and the clinics coordination with the hospital departments.
Create and oversee multi-disciplinary clinic and procedure schedules, integrating complimentary services such as palliative care and social work. These hospital departments will include the activities in the acute care area.
Ensure strategic integration of care and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience.
Provide navigation through the care continuum for patients with complex care, particularly VAD and Valve.
Coordinate case conferences, M&Ms, Valve Leadership mtg., VAD leadership meetings, The Joint Commission site visits and intra-cycle TJC reviews.
Lead staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patients physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Ensure compliance with established clinical policies and procedures.
Provide support to research coordinators, as their work relates to multi-disciplinary programs.
Facilitate communication between HVI leaders and clinic managers, and the needs of the services so that the needs of the patient are best served.
Lead or participate in cardiovascular wide special projects, dashboard development/maintenance, committees or task forces as requested.
Provide leadership with opportunities of improvement across the continuum of care.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in business, nursing, or other healthcare field
Unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Oregon
3 years of nursing management experience
Specialty clinic management or multi-specialty clinic management experience in a complex healthcare delivery environment, including clinic operations, financial management, quality management and risk management in a medical group
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record consistent with GOP Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix required at time of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's degree in Health Administration, Nursing, or MBA
Experience in an integrated delivery system
Experience in new practice and facilities development
