This candidate will provide internal administrative assistance to the Sales and Account Service team by phone and in person to Agents and Group Administrators to meet department objectives.Primary Functions:01. Complete accurate internal paperwork for changes, renewals and terminations to ensure external timelines are met and/or exceeded.02. Respond to a high volume of emails and phone calls from external clients, agents and internal customers to provide excellent customer service, accurate information and timely responses.03. Prepare enrollment packets, welcome letters, welcome packets and group administrative kits.04. Prepare performance guarantee and other necessary reports and ensure accuracy prior to providing to external customers.05. Prepare and submit reports as necessary to groups and agents monthly, quarterly and annually in a timely manner. 06. Prepare internal renewal paperwork and cancellation notices.07. Receive and process internal and external correspondence for Sales and Services team.08. Prepare and send out delinquency notices to clients and agents to ensure all letters are mailed within the time frame outlined in the group contract.09. Act as a liaison between various internal departments and the Sales and Account Services team when they are in the field.10. Support Sales and Account Services objectives by preparing accompanying Sales and Account Services materials for the Service Representatives when needed.11. Attend cross-functional meetings as necessary to assist Account Executives.12. Provide back up support for other Sales and Account Services assistants as needed.13. Cover receptionist as needed.14. Perform other duties as assigned.

At least 12 months office experience in the Health Insurance Industry.
Demonstrated proficiency in Administration Assistant I requirements.
Understand Summary of Benefits (SBC).
Know and understand Administrative Services Only (ASO) and non-standard health insurance contracts.
Ability to run and pull reports as necessary and when requested by an Account Executive or Sales Representative.
Typing ability of 35 wpm net.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of Moda Health medical and dental products.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to learn underwriting policies and procedures to assist with submission of small and large groups.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong organizational skills and detail-orientated to handle large work volumes.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
Ability to come into work on time and on a daily basis.
Must possess a strong and positive work ethic.
