As our Senior Guest Services Specialist, you will develop strong relationships with clients as you coordinate and execute event registration, transportation and hotel accommodation requests by ensuring related event details are coordinated and executed accurately and professionally. You'll provide support and consulting services for online registration logistics utilizing Nike’s meeting management tool (Lenos). Your strong communication skills and relationships with key clients allows you to influence results or outcomes. In addition, you’ll collaborate with event planners and clients to create registration templates to track pertinent information. Via the on-line registration tool, you’ll manage communications and reports with meeting travelers, event planners, Nike Travel department and outside vendors to confirm required travel, hotel and ground transportation arrangements have been made and appropriately processed. Per Nike Meeting & Events Policies, you’ll negotiate hotel room rates, contract hotel rooms and coordinate hotel accommodations with hotel management.

In addition, when needed, you will evaluate client’s transportation needs and negotiate vendor contracts/rates fulfilling client requests for buses, limousine, town cars and rental van reservations. You will be the liaison between the Transportation Company and travelers and will develop transportation schedules to provide on-site transportation coordination when required to/from airport, hotels, restaurants and off-site venues throughout the planning and execution of the event.



  • Bachelor'sdegree in events/hospitality or related field and/or at least 4years' of event experience in a Hotel or Convention/Conference Centerpreferred.

  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Strong networking and communication skills.

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and develop relationshipswith clients, vendors and contractors.

  • Strongattention to details and deadlines.

  • Advancedability to exercise good judgment and manage multiple and competing priorities.

  • Strongpriority and time management skills.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule driven by event business needswhich may include evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.

  • Microsoft Office is required. Meeting management software(EBMS-Event Business Management, Lenos) preferred.

  • Website design and content editing experience preferred.

  • Ability to travel to/from event locations including those outsideof WHQ, as needed.

  • Occasional travel may be applicable.
