Summary: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Salem office. This role will assist with all aspects of the Hampton Resources Division including log procurement, forestland management, office and division administration, and human resources support. The home office for this person is located in Hampton Family Tree Farm office in Salem, OR. This position reports to the Financial Manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ' Log purchase/sale agreement administration including prospectus and appraisal, bond management, wire execution, invoicing, payments of stumpage, sale reconciliation and notarization. ' Work with representatives of government agencies and private business partners to facilitate business transactions. ' Tracking, editing, scheduling, creating/distributing reports and facilitating project communications ' Proficient in use and report generation of the log purchase and sale information system. ' Special projects assignments in various capacities to facilitate forward momentum of initiatives. ' Backup and cross training with other duties within the Resources office. ' Business activity data analysis and reporting. ' A/P and A/R functions ' Facilitate vehicle and equipment purchases, division insurance administration and telecommunication system support. Education & Training Required: ' Proficient in computer usage and document typing, with knowledge of the latest versions of Microsoft Office products. Familiar with standard office equipment. ' High Proficiency in MS Excel. ' Associates degree or higher preferred, job experience considered. ' Knowledge of forest industry preferred.
