Oversee the entire accounts receivable cycle for the Americas region and drive
AR results globally through collaboration with regional team leaders. Direct management over credit team in the
Americas (5-10 direct reports), responsibility to set targets and deliver
results for AR, DSO, bad debt globally. A
key leader in driving working capital results for the company.
Setobjectives for the accounts receivable team that align with company financialgoals.
Manage andsupport accounts receivable team and train new team members.
Develop& manage an engaged, collaborative, and results oriented collections team.
Ensuretimely collection and application of payments.
Negotiatewith clients in non-payment cases.
Prepareweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual aging reports.
Establishand track KPIs such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Apply dailymanagement principles to engage direct team and global teams in deliveringresults.
Maintain anddrive continuous improvement in collection policies and procedures.
Createcustomer score cards that measure and track behavior patterns.
Assist inshaping sales force behavior that aligns with the best interest of theorganization.
Manage andtrack customer deductions and drive the collection of any disputes.
Stay up todate on industry best practices and drive best practice sharing across regionalteams.
Work inpartnership with the IT team and global teams to drive improved reportingprocesses.
Makerecommendations to improve the quality of invoicing and collection procedures.
Setsaccurate forecasts and plans for AR, DSO both regionally and globally.
Developsannual plans and drives clear actions to deliver improved resultsyear-over-year regionally and globally.
Applyeffective, data based, collaborative, and cross-functional problem solving whenresults are behind target.
Manager ARclose activities.
Report on ARresults and forecast to executive leadership.
Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting.
5 years ofexperience in credit and collections.
Proven workexperience as a manager.
Hands-onexperience with accounting software, Oracle preferred.
Superiorspreadsheets skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellentanalytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
Ability toaccurately process numerical data.
Managerial skillsand experience are a must.
Knowledgeand understanding of D&B reporting is required.
Entrepreneurialproblem solver with strong troubleshooting skills.
Resultsoriented with high standards.
Ability tohire and develop strong people.
Ability toeffectively manage time, multi-task, and prioritize projects to meet establisheddeadlines.
Ability tocommunicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and written.
Thinksstrategically but stays on top of tactical execution.
This is a full-time
position based in Beaverton, Oregon.
