Robert Half International Collections Specialist in Beaverton, Oregon

Description

Accountemps is looking for a Collections Specialist to join a growing manufacturing company in the Beaverton, OR area. If you want to become an integral part of the team and thrive in the Collections Specialist role, this may be the job for you.

The main job responsibilities for the Collections Specialist are:

  • Handle inbound and outbound collections calls

  • Assist with billing and reporting activities according to deadlines

  • Handle all vendor inquiries

  • Maintain and update customer files to ensure data integrity

  • Call on all past due amounts and record all results in the system

  • Record all customer payments to the correct reports

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • 2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational sills

  • Experience with SAP software is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred
