Nike Delivery Manager in Beaverton, Oregon

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field; 2+ additional years of professional experience in lieu of a degree

  • A deep understanding and practical application of standard release process(s), agile methodologies and technical capabilities (including agile - lean, continuous delivery)

  • Expertise working with teams who use development and deployment automation tools in the software development and deployment lifecycle

  • Demonstrated skills in delivering technology to production across multiple teams in an agile framework

  • Demonstrated ability to influence across an organization

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating to a wide range of stakeholders including senior management, executive leadership, and technical teams

  • Proven track record of implementing effective processes and continuous improvement

  • Continuous Integration/Delivery experience is preferred

  • Experience operating in a continually transforming, fast-paced, complex, high visibility environment with multiple competing priorities

  • Strong analytical experience including defining Key Performance Indicators, Operational Level agreements and experiencing dealing with vendor Service Level Agreements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR As a Nike Delivery Manager, you will be an integral part of the team that enables Nike to bring its world-class products and experiences to market. You will work across a number of capabilities to understand portfolio roadmaps, programs, and key value drops.

    WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Delivery Manager, you’ll be driving the release framework and governance with a continuous delivery mindset across multiple teams and geographies. You’ll work with Support and Operation teams to ensure operational readiness. You’ll drive to a global release cadence that defines the cycles, structures, and required oversight to deliver products and experiences to production without impact. You’ll participate in capability Stand Ups and PI Planning sessions to determine and plan for upcoming deliveries. You’ll manage all change activity from planning through testing, to deployment. You’ll develop risk management and contingency planning for feature deliveries of any size. As well as identify and drive retrospective items to completion.

You’ll define and publish key metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of releases as well as areas of improvement for the Release management framework. You’ll Communicate effectively at multiple levels within the organization through written and verbal communication, both formal and informal.

In true Nike fashion, you will partner closely with teams including program, product, engineering, release engineering, and quality teams to not only execute releases, but continually improve process, achieve efficiencies, and deliver a quality product timely.  You will also partner with the business and IT stakeholders to drive release scheduling decisions
