Nike Graduate Workplace Design and Connectivity (WD+C) Internship in Beaverton, Oregon
Must be currently enrolled in your 1st year of a Master’s Program with expected graduation date of December 2021 or Spring 2022
Prior research projects or work experience in the design, architecture or hospitality services industry preferred
Bachelor degree in Behavioral Science, Anthropology, Sociology, or related field
3-5 years relevant work experience
Strong visual storytelling skills: Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, video creation experience is ideal
Ability to uncover consumer needs through a variety of research methods
Ability to moderate and facilitate individual and group interviews
Demonstrated ability to lead a project and manage the budget and timeline
Ability to plan, lead, execute, and deliver compeling and actionable research in a fast paced environment

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a WD+C Intern with a passion for seeking deep insights – the reasons behind the reasons – in our data, using visualization techniques to bring those insights to life in a compelling narrative, and igniting business decisions and actions through that storytelling. This intern believes in the ability of analytics to fuel the connection between one the world’s most prestigious brands and its workforce. You are an analyst and a storyteller, demonstrating the ability and skills to communicate with employees and leaders across the enterprise, including formal presentations to senior leaders.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In WD+C, our consumers are our employees. The WD+C research team uncovers patterns in employee-produced quantitative and qualitative data. These insights reveal the deeper meaning of these patterns and the behaviors driving them, ultimately unveiling opportunities to enhance the overall workplace for all employees. The research team works together with strategic partners, including qualitative research teams, to deliver these studies in a personal way, at scale and to lead the execution of research activities on dedicated projects, for example, where a workplace transformation is planned or where an evaluation of an implemented transformation is required. They develop a standard for the protocols, tools and processes that are applied to studies that support the innovation of products and services by the WD+C organization across our global portfolio.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The research team collects information and builds relationships with employees across the enterprise, including teams in Global Technology Data & Analytics, Marketplace Insights, and Human Resources. The team may engage in direct qualitative research such as focus groups, prototyping sessions, and survey development with HR teams. Activities and insights are developed with our Global team in Beaverton as well as WD+C teams representing North America, our World Headquarters, Asia & Latin America, and Europe, Middle East & Africa.
