Vanguard EMS, Inc. is currently seeking qualified and experienced electronics assembly and manufacturing personnel.

The Program Team Assistant is responsible for providing support to Customer Product Specialist and Scheduling departments on an as need basis.
What you’ll do:
Monitor and assist CPS and Schedulers with Project and RMAs. Communicate potential delays and barriers to the appropriate groups.
Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
Use Shop Floor Control, SMARTer, Fourth Shift (MRP) and Agile as needed to accomplish critical product deliverables
Review inventory discrepancies and identify actions required, follow up as needed
Develop a working knowledge of Vanguard’s policies, procedures, processes and functions
Create new documents and forms using advanced computer and problem-solving skills
Cross-training in other administrative functions
Performs other duties as assigned including miscellaneous clerical duties
What you’ll need:
High level of proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc), Office, and Outlook
Proficient English communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal)
Intermediate mathematical skills
Highly detail oriented with good prioritization, follow-up, and organizational skills as well as flexibility
Strong problem solving, proactive follow-up and relationship building and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, takes initiative and responsibility for existing or new processes including problem-solving, making decisions, taking risks and taking ownership of outcome
Ability to work in a team environment with a wide range of functions including production, purchasing, customer service, and material handling.
Ability to understand and adhere to all Vanguard’s policies, processes, procedures and workplace guidelines as well as to represent company in a professional manner.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
