Our client, a leader in the Apparel industry, is currently seeking a Retail Environments Designer for a 6 month temporary position with an opportunity for an extension. The position is located in Beaverton, OR.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
As a Designer working under the direction of a Senior Designer or Director you will collaborate in the design of innovative retail environments.
3D modeling, Photoshop, 2D file production, visualization, presentation building and general design assistance. Lead creative development of design from sketch to production files for smaller independent work and pieces of larger projects.
Proven ability to perform and apply relevant design skills including interior/architectural design, 2D graphic visuals and layout
Experienced in Brand storytelling in both 3d environments and 2d presentations
Assist with creating effective, high quality presentations and design visuals using 3D software and hand sketches
You will be assisting on large projects with a strong creative vision that involves and requires multiple specialized disciplines and individuals.
You will be creating both independent, original design solutions as well as helping to develop and execute work by others.
Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop skills in compositing/manipulation, Keynote
Rhino, Parametric Design, V-Ray, Podium, Enscape, Vectoraster, Motion Graphics, Typography, Writing Preferred
Experience with finish selection, custom FF&E, and branded interior concept development
Can achieve quality visuals through modeling, texturing, lighting and post production
Ability to effectively elevate concerns to design team in a timely and accurate manner
Ability to help manage contractors and external vendors including design and production studios/agencies
Ability to help direct more junior staff and adjacent functions in studio
Collaborates with peers, design counterparts and partner groups to ensure project design continuity across all areas of focus.
Leverages design processes and best practices to ensure design deliverables and timelines are met
Critical thinking required to interpret direction and anticipate feedback
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in design (interiors, architecture, ID, Graphic/Communications) preferred and 1-2 years of Interior and Environmental Design experience. Retail, restaurant or hospitality design industry experience is preferred. Knowledge of design and retail trends preferred. This position requires candidate to communicate and present design concepts to peers and manager. Must have experience and proficiency working collaboratively within a team. Candidate must have the ability to manage a dynamic set of multiple work priorities, demands and changes. Ability to execute work clearly and in a quick pace, dynamic work environment. Must have solid time management skills, be self-directed, organized, and detail oriented.
