Nike Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer in Beaverton, Oregon

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters’ or Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, arelated field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in large-scale softwaredevelopment

  • 2+ years of Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP

  • 3+ years of experience with Javascript on the frontend(React, Angular, etc) and Node.js backend components.

  • Experience with UI design, wireframes, and visuallayout.

  • Experience with web and web app patterns includingRESTful and GraphQL API design and implementation.

  • Experience with securing RESTful APIs and Apps usingOAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT

  • Experience with both relational and No-SQL databases

  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or serverlesstechnologies.

  • Experience with participating in projects in a highlycollaborative, multi-discipline development team environment

  • Exposure to Agile and test driven development

  • Exposure to hierarchical and distributed coderepository management tools like GIT

  • Great communications skills

Scope & responsibilities

  • Evangelize and cultivate adoption of EnterprisePlatforms experiences, open source software and agile principles withinthe organization

  • Ensure solutions are crafted and developed using a scalable,highly resilient cloud native architecture

  • Deliver well-documented and well-tested code, andparticipate in peer code reviews

  • Craft and develop tools and frameworks to improvesecurity, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance forthe technology foundation of our platform

  • Ensure product and technical features are delivered tospec and timely

  • Collaborate with and consult other Nike developmentteams, UX designers, and stakeholders.

  • Explain designs and constraints to partners and technicalteams

  • Assist in the support and operation of the platformsyou help build

  • Work with product management to support product /service scoping activities

  • Work with leadership to define delivery schedules ofkey features through an agile framework

  • Be a key contributor to overall architecture, frameworkand design of enterprise platform experiences
