Description

The global apparel team creates Nike apparel and equipment that brings innovation and inspiration to athletes* around the world. As a Strategic Planning Manager, you will work with the Apparel Strategy Director and Global Apparel leadership team to drive business planning, analyze business results and identify and evaluate opportunities to create value within the apparel product engine.

In this role, you’ll fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic business planning processand report on weekly / monthly / quarterly results and opportunities

  • Partner across functions to identify, quantify andanalyze opportunities to drive functional excellence and strategies

  • Own and drive independent strategic workstreams, structuring an approach, organizing stakeholders and mananagingworking teams

  • Develop high-impact presentations and communicationtools to communicate strategic plans and visions across the organization

  • Faciliate leadership discussions that drive thefunctional agenda

  • Lead the development and ongoing management oftools and processes to execute against the strategic and business plans

  • Lead research and analytical work to identify,resolve and implement solutions to key business issues that arise

Qualifications

  • A passion for Nike productand the people and process that bring it to life

  • Bachelor's degree and 4-7years' work experience in management consulting, corporate strategic planning,corporate development, business development, investment banking or relatedfields

  • Master’s degree inBusiness Administration (MBA) preferred but not required

  • Proven ability to leadcross-functional teams and provide project management support, includingmanaging multiple projects simultaneously

  • Track record of workingeffectively as a thought partner to senior leaders and their teams toeffect change

  • Demonstrated ability todrive quantitative and qualitative analysis (e.g., financial modeling) andanalyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors

  • Logical structuring and strategicproblem solving skills and an ability to ramp up and pivot quickly

  • Ability to effectivelynavigate a highly matrixed environment and manage a diverse set ofstakeholders

  • Can-do attitude andhistory of making stuff happen independently and as part of a team

  • Superior writing,communication, presentation skills, interpersonal skills and ability towork cross-functionally with senior management

  • Proficiency in standardbusiness software applications(e.g., Keynote, advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills)

  • Ability to pass a criminalbackground check
