WorkSource Oregon Accounts Payable/Grants Administrator in BURNS, Oregon

***Federal law exempts Oregon Indian Tribes from following all Oregon employment laws.*** Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting and 3 to 5 years experience in accounting, grant monitoring and state and federal contracts is preferred. Experience using computer software programs including Word, Excel and accounting software programs. Duties: Complete payment processing functions including processing purchase orders, check requests, and travel reimbursement requests ensuring all necessary documents are included. Prepare weekly check run, schedule payments as required based on invoice and statement due dates. Initiate online ACH payments and submit copy of summaries to Finance Director for banking purposes. Reconcile credit card and vendor statements; follow up with travel to ensure expenses are finalized and reports submitted. Prepare check requests, administer petty cash and perform weekly check run. Perform reporting functions for grants, federal financial reporting and draw requests. Compile and product statistical reports. Maintain all AP vendor files in system. Maintain grant and contract files and assist with ensuring compliance. Prepare for and assist with annual AP audit. Work with program directors to ensure grants funds are spent per regulations, grant requirements and deadlines. Other duties as assigned. Hours: Full time. Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Additional Information: The successful candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate will also be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and sign a confidentiality agreement.
