This temporary job is expected to last approximately 6-8 weeks. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma and minimum one year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, and software manuals, write routine reports/correspondence Effectively speak and communicate with managers, customers, and employees Is able to analyze and respond to issues and to influence other parties in order to proactively address those issues. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form. Work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments Capable of working collectively with all members within the organization Research and analyze various different type of data information This position may require knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation and this position may be responsible for the performance of various functions that may be an integral part of the Company's overall SOX / 404 internal control structure. JOB DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to provide effective customer service and sales support for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, in depth knowledge of company products and programs, as well as team members within the Customer Service Department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately process orders for merchandise received by mail, telephone, fax or E-mail or personally from customer or sales team into computer system. Inform customer of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer Maintain computer data system with correct ship dates Communicate with engineering, planning/materials, warehouse, production floor to insure timely completion of work orders Coordinate with plant engineering to assure timely execution of product development Coordinate as appropriate, quality matters and engineering changes between company and customer Compile statistics and prepares various reports for management Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
