WorkSource Oregon Fixed Route Bus Drivers in ClatsopCounty, Oregon
Sunset Empire Transportation District (SETD), based in Astoria, Oregon, is seeking applications for energetic individuals with great customer service skills to fill (2) full-time Fixed Route Bus Driver positions. If this job is for you and you can deliver exceptional customer service skills SETD will provide training necessary to acquire a CDL B license. Fixed Route Drivers are responsible for operating buses which require being in control of the bus and knowledge of all equipment used in a safe and efficient manner. The driver is responsible for providing safety and well-being to their passengers Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, two (2) years previous driving experience (preferred), operating transportation vehicles and experience working with elderly and/or disabled riders. CPR and First Aid certification is recommended. Certifications preferred include Commercial Driver's License (CDL) w/air brakes, passenger endorsement and a CDL Medical Certificate, Defensive Driving Certificate and PASS Certificate. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required ' Wage range is $14.93 - $20.89 per hour depending on experience ' Excellent Benefits ' 100% paid medical & dental benefit for employee ' Shifts are variable according to routes The Area Astoria is in Clatsop County where the Pacific Ocean meets the mighty Columbia River.
