Minimum/Required Qualifications ' Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering ' Demonstrated organizational skills ' Experience in equipment use and troubleshooting ' A demonstrated commitment of promoting and enhancing diversity Position Duties 75% Sewage sampling logistics ' Development of sampling protocols for sampling sewage from sewers and wastewater treatment influents ' Autosampler management: maintenance, trouble-shooting, installation, retrieval, and transport at multiple locations in Oregon, but primarily the OSU campus. ' Communication with staff at municipal wastewater treatment facilities, maintenance of relationships, assistance with sampling questions ' Transport of samples and samples between locations in Oregon 10% Supervision of undergraduate employees ' Maintain a schedule for sample collection, battery replacement, and sampler check in for undergraduate workers. ' Provide training for undergraduate workers on sewer sample collection, battery replacement, and sampler trouble shooting. 15% Participate in collaborative development and delivery of research publications and presentations. ' Perform data analysis using prevalence data, water quality data, and appropriate metadata ' Data visualization using excel and GIS (graphical information systems) ' Presentations and posters for group meetings, to external collaborators, and at professional conferences.
