Minimum/Required Qualifications Minimum/required qualifications for hiring at the rank of Assistant Professor: ' Doctoral degree with an emphasis in an architectural engineering discipline, such as a degree in architectural engineering, building science, building technology, civil engineering, engineering, high-performance buildings, mechanical engineering, sustainable building systems, or a closely related field. ' Demonstrated preparation and potential to effectively teach introductory and advanced courses in the architectural engineering undergraduate and graduate programs, and to develop new courses that serve the architectural engineering program. ' Demonstrated potential for establishing a productive, externally funded research program involving students, in a topical area that advances the science, technology, design, and/or construction of high-performance buildings. ' Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across different demographic groups through teaching, research, outreach, advising, and/or service within a university community, or a societal or professional context.
