This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Program Representative 1-CCare Program Specialist position for the Student Health Services Department at Oregon State University (OSU).

The Student Health Services (SHS) mission is to provide leadership for the health of the University community. This position contributes to the mission of SHS through teamwork and collaboration, participates in organizational committees, provides University outreach, and strives to contribute to the academic success of OSU students. This position will primarily lead the CCare Office staff with duties related to administering the programs, presenting the programs to students, enrolling students in the programs.

The Student Health CCare Office is tasked with administering the State of Oregon Contraceptive Care program by means of a contract with Oregon State University Student Health Services

The Program Representative 1 performs non-clerical administrative projects or assignments or coordinates program elements in support of the CCare institution program and operation thereof. The work performed is concentrated in the CCare institution and operational area, requiring in-depth knowledge of that program and operation.

Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty):

Two years of technical or professional-level experience advising and/or instructing the public concerning specific programs or processes, monitoring programs, or performing participant reviews.

Requirements :

Two years of experience with Medical Insurance / Billing / Patient Accounts.

Excellent Customer service skills: face to face, telephone, e-mail.

Experience that includes entering, compiling, reporting and auditing information.

Ability to explain and interpret, laws, rules, policies, procedures, programs and records.

Experience working with culturally diverse customer base or clientele.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel spreadsheets.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OAR 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 24 months.

This position is deemed essential and the incumbent may be expected to report to work during inclement weather, emergency and other University work curtailments or closures. The incumbent is expected to check in with their direct supervisor or unit leadership daily during University delays or closures to determine if they are required to report to work.
