Oracle Product Manager CX Industry Solutions Framework in Corvallis, Oregon
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Looking for development platform technical product manager or architect wanting to be a product manager to lead the roadmap for Oracle's Customer Experience verticalization platform to enable industry specific solutions across multiple SaaS and on-premise applications. This Product Manager will drive the requirements and delivery of platform components and productivity tooling to enable the development of smart, contextual and extensible industry vertical SaaS applications. Ideally the candidate have a good sense of Open APIs, open digital architecture and cloud native technologies.
This is a key role to drive Oracle's ability to leverage and improve its capabilities to build industry focused SaaS applications. Also this is a key role to enable an ecosystem to create vertical applications around Oracle Cloud applications. The role requires working across technology teams, industries and a dedicated team.
The Product Manager will perform the typical product management tasks including:
Defining user journeys
Defining features and requirements into JIRA and Confluence
Mocking up UI's and demo scenarios
Act as the product owner in scrum team
Define and execute a roadmap
Deliver the go to market collateral and training
Liaison with a wide range of engineering and cross-functional teams to get the solution delivered as a service (SaaS)
Handle all licensing, pricing and service delivery logistics.
In addition the following are important for this role:
Guide engineering on implementation choices
Innovate ways to deliver upgrade safe extensibility by vertical teams, SI, VARs and customers including managing the lifecycle of creating and deploying extensions.
Innovate ways to enable consistent and reliable experiences
Innovate ways to leverage AI/ML/Analytics in the experiences and across channels
The product manager is required to have most of the following:
7 years Product management or customer implementation experience
Understanding of concept to cash to care processes and especially for service based industries like telecom
Knowledgeable in enterprise wide functional architecture and data mastering
Experience in Eventing hubs, API Gateways, API catalogs and Security
Experience with modern application design principles and knowledgeable of trends, especially SaaS technologies and ecosystems
High energy, self-starter and low maintenance
Ability to influence others and to communicate with executive level
Can be brief and can be very detailed
Able to articulate requirements at the lowest level
Understands the requirements for critical mission and enterprise mission applications for large and mega customers
Tele-Management Forum (TMF) ODA and Frameworks training and applications is a plus
