Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

The Oracle Dyn Product Management team is looking for an experiencedProductManager forthe Web Application Firewall (WAF)to protect customerapplications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Stakeholder in WAF product lifecycle, strategy
Lead voice-of-customer engagements to discover end user, market and competitive use case requirements into a differentiated offering for WAF services
Translate customer and market analysis into a product strategy that delivers on high-value customer requirements with a differentiated product and user experience
Define stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize features, provide business context to product development from concept to and subsequent launches
Enable Product Marketing by developing content to drive customer awareness, accelerate customer engagements and deliver product
Evangelize the vision for Edge Security
Define, develop and deliver pricing, packaging and positioning strategies
Work with Release Management to ensure the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform cross-service dependencies are aligned for the WAF product
You will be a member of the team that acts as the centralresource and driving force for the design, build, and test of product in theDyn business unit. You should be willing to initiate interdepartmentalactivities to discover needs and sell internally the value of the WebApplication Firewall. You will analyze and integrate external customerneeds and provide input to product direction and requirements. You willwork with User Interface and API design teams to address theserequirements. You will act as the voice of the customer in sprint retrospectivesto ensure needs are being met.

navigating a large complex organization with a self-help mentality mining large online information sources
dealing with ambiguity and take complex concepts and be able to explain in writing and verbally at the right level to various audiences
Be a good informal influencer and collaborator
Having a non-routine work cadence
Speaking in different verticals and business domains
Traveling to Seattle, Manchester NH, and Lithuania periodically.
Candidate credentials should include:
Multiple years of technical product manager experience, but would consider sales engineering or delivery/implementation backgrounds
Experience implementing, managing and/or selling Web Application Firewall solutions
Swagger ninja skills
Understand reverse proxy concepts
Be able to articulate concepts around bot mitigation
Confluence and/or Jira working experience
Familiarity with modern development frameworks like React
Working knowledge of ModSecurity a plus
Can spell PKI
Familiarity with OAuth
Understand CDN and cache concepts
Knowing the OpenResty platform is a bonus
Conceptual understanding of Denial of Service mitigation techniques
Having worked with Access Control engines may help
Strong networking experience
Working with traffic at scale
