Aerotek Telephonic Medical Assistant in Eugene, Oregon



• Respond to an average 80+ incoming phone calls per day and desktop items and refer if necessary

• Call patients as directed by the provider and as necessary to follow up or schedule appointments

• Obtain patient histories, medications, immunizations and other data in the Electronic Medical Record

• Retrieve laboratory and radiology test results and instruct patients regarding medications and treatment per provider’s instructions

• Understand and interpret current immunization schedule

• Understand and follow the approved prescription refill workflow and documentation requirements
