Job Description

In Hillsboro, OR, ASML seeks two Field Applications Engineers responsible for providing solutions to lithography applications problems related to the optimization of the ASML scanner and its applications performance enhancement options; translates customer on-product issue into a lithography-related problem statement and resolve issues to help customer to maximize the performance and use of ASML products; maximizes the application of ASML products and options to the customer’s benefit; participates in proactively identifying ASML applications product opportunities for customers; documents and provides training on procedures, processes, best known methods to aid customers’ use of ASML products; joins customers in experimentation to ensure efficient and accurate performance; conducts data analysis to ensure that the correct conclusions are drawn from customer’s acquired experimental data and results reported to ASML and customer; meets with internal and external customers to maintain twoway level of commitment to keep all involved and affected parties informed of progress;prepares technical presentations for new user support and assists sales in technical presentations; and participates in aand/or leads projects aimed at supporting customer transition to a new technology node or ramp up a specific technology node.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Optics, Electronics, Micro-electronics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or IC Manufacturing, 2 years of experience in an IC manufacturing environment with a strongemphasis on lithography and the application of imaging and overlay solutions in semiconductor production processes and occasional travel to ASML facilities in the U.S. and abroad required.

Context of the position

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
