Oracle Marketing Manager - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Hillsboro, Oregon

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications

Seeking aMarketing Managerto be a part of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure Solutions marketing team to help drive strategy, execution, and delivery of marketing generated pipeline commitments. This person will serve a meaningful role in helping the North America Specialty Sales team achieve its growth goals. This role will interface and collaborate with sales, sales consulting, product marketing, product management and business development to develop, adapt, and execute highly effective marketing programs and events that increase market awareness, generate demand, accelerate pipeline, and grow sales revenue in North America.

This marketing professional should understand multiple personas and business segments, know how to craft account based strategy plans, and be able to drive integrated marketing programs. This person will also need to report weekly on campaign metrics and KPIs that track towards quarterly goals.

Essential functions include but may not be limited to:

  • Successful execution of integrated campaign activities to drive leads, pipeline, and revenue for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Influence marketing strategy for Oracle’s IaaS/PaaS pillars.

  • Build campaign strategy, value propositions and messaging, contact acquisition strategy, and content that get results.

  • Build content to support demand gen activities, including landing pages, webinars, blog posts, product demos, videos, etc

  • Define the target audience and its preferences, needs, and challenges. Identify - and adjust - appropriate mix of assets and activities to engage the audience, generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and grow and close pipeline.

  • Execute strategy for coordinated digital, ABM, and event strategies.

  • Budgeting and reporting - Proactively communicate the impact of overall marketing programs in terms of key performance goals (pipeline, opportunities generated, revenue) on a monthly, quarterly, FY basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability working in B2B marketing.

  • Background includes marketing B2B cloud services

  • Execution-oriented, creative, and able to bring innovative ideas that increase engagement within a fast-paced, high-growth market segment, across multiple personas

  • Shown success (pipeline & revenue generation) of multi-channel demand generation campaigns, including digital, events and ABM execution.

  • Strong understanding of lead generation and flow within a B2B organization.

  • Analytical approach with ability to track and report on marketing performance metrics as well as lagging revenue attribution, revenue influence and value.

  • Writing experience: email marketing, direct marketing copy, and massaging product content into easy-to-understand benefits

  • Expertise in running projects across various, regionally distributed teams

  • Excellent relationship leadership skills with ability to quickly establish rapport and influence and deepen relationships with partners

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems, Eloqua a plus.

  • Strong and focused project management and process improvement capabilities.

  • Other soft skills: Self-starter and self-motivated, organized, goal-oriented, excellent multi-tasker and able to manage time well, customer-focused, excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to be flexible and adjust to changes in priorities or areas of focus as needed.
