Intel Power Delivery Systems Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
Analyzes, specifies, designs, and validates voltage regulation and power delivery solutions supporting timely, cost-sensitive client computing platforms. Works to include (though not limited to) power systems modeling and optimization, power sequencing, component specifications, supplier enabling and validation of component and system Power Delivery solutions, and the optimization of same; troubleshooting and debug are essential skills.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar technical STEM degree
5+ years of IT industry experience
4+ years of experience in:
Analog power delivery design and power management
With package and motherboard power delivery, time domain and frequency domain simulation and/or sensitivity analysis would be an added advantage
With Mathcad & Sigrity simulation tools (Power SI and/or PowerDC), Cadence Schematic* and board layout tools, and HSpice* would be an added advantage
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar technical STEM degree
