Intel Reporting and Analytics Senior Accountant in Hillsboro, Oregon
The General Accounting & Reporting organization serves as a central owner and key contributor, influencing Intel's journey to a world class close, with a focus on journal entry governance and optimization.
As a member of this department, you will be a part of the corporate team working with various business process owners and shared service centers to improve the close process. Journal entry governance and optimization are key focus areas on this road-map.
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Driving analytics on the balance sheet and cash flows - related to both actuals and forecast
Leading efforts to determine appropriate business unit ownership of balance sheet items - will require assessing and implementing system and process changes.
You may additionally be tasked with work on ad hoc projects.
Analytics efforts will emphasize
Data flows between systems
Controls around data flow, access, and completeness and accuracy
Customer (business partner) service and feedback-

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
4+ years of accounting experience.

Tech savvy with experience in process automation, data management and reporting dashboards
Ability to drive initiatives across groups and sites to achieve broadly defined goals and objectives
Excellent analytical, research, conceptual, communication and planning skills and desire to challenge the status-quo.
Ability to work on a fast-paced team and adapt to rapidly changing situations and conditions as well as a drive and bias for action.
Power BI expertise.
Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions
