Intel Research Engineer Intern in Hillsboro, Oregon
The Pathfinding team seeks a research engineer intern for audio projects in Hillsboro, OR, USA. The Pathfinding team develops algorithms, prototypes, and demos to achieve new immersive media experiences for the Intel Sports Group.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical and non-technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the project.
The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
technology exploration, engage external vendors, and rapid systems prototyping
develop audio processing algorithms
producing spatial audio workflows for live sports broadcast
developing audio object capture and rendering technologies
The candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced environments where the set of problems and application areas change rapidly.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research and /or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Sciences, or any other related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Programming skills in languages like Python or C/C+- Familiar with digital signal processing
Prior experience as a sound engineer, or audio production for live and/or recorded content
