Intel is seeking to hire a Security Researcher:
In this role you will be responsible for:
Secure design, development and operation of Intel's hardware and software products and services.
Responsibilities may include threat assessments, design of security components, and vulnerability assessment.
Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.
Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risks.
Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal processes.
Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art security principles, theories, attacks and contributes to literature and conferences.
May participate in the development of the intellectual property.
Requires thorough knowledge of security practices, procedures and capabilities in order to perform nonrepetitive, analytical work.
In-depth experience with vulnerability research to find vulnerabilities and develop/propose mitigations
Automation and ability to apply emerging security research trends
To mentor /guide a team of junior security researchers
Drive strategic initiatives to meet organizations security vision and goals
To be considered for this position you must meet the minimum education and experience requirements. Experience can be considered from Education, Projects and/or Work experience or combinations thereof:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer or similar technical STEM degree
10+years of industry experience
6+ years of experience with the following:
Performing Thereat Model, Security Risk assessment,
Identify project priorities and defining Security Assurance
Drivers, and other compute paradigmsExperience with computer architecture, CPU, SoC, chipsets, BIOS, Firmware,
Security analysis of applications, services, BIOS/UEFI, SMM, firmware, hardware, RTL, IP, SoC, broad design, schematics, etc
In mitigations strategies for common security weakness for a range of software attacks to physical and side-channel attacks.
Perform secure code reviews, design and architectural issues.
Comprehend state-of-the-art security principles, theories, and attacks, with lots of hands-on expectations
In exploit development (published exploits and write-ups on exploiting new classes of issues, new techniques, tools are greatly appreciated)
- 15+ years of experience in Security
