Intel Senior Consultant/Design Director in Hillsboro, Oregon
As a Senior Consultant/Design Director in Intel's Global Rewards and Talent Retention organization, you will lead compensation design evaluation, analysis and implementation. Working closely with business-unit aligned consultants, you'll partner to ensure designers and consultants are capturing and integrating both internal and external signals and trends. Working with key partners, you'll support and consult with business groups regarding compensation practices, models and implications. Closely working with business unit leaders, HR partners and compensation peers, you'll help stakeholders understand current state, consult, align short-term and long-term business objectives and future vision with design. You will be a key voice in rewards design - evaluation and implementation. Your knowledge of external approaches, benchmarks and market pricing methods will influence future practices.
Responsibilities of the role: � Participate in development, implementation and maintenance of company compensation and/or benefits programs � Prepare policies and procedures to insure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation � Monitor and evaluate the company's compensation programs and impact on employee groups � Ensure programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs in various markets � Apply thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work � Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
In addition, the successful candidate should possess the below behavioral traits: � Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask � Exceptional analytical, quantitative and statistical skills and ability to tell a story with data � Ability to deal with ambiguous and complex work situations and multiple stakeholders at every level � Proven success managing multiple global projects and/or systems implementations � Exceptional integrity, judgement, and discretion regarding sensitive information � Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all levels of management, including senior leaders � Strong leadership, resourcefulness with strong results-oriented drive � Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications: � BS/Masters degree with 12+ years of relevant experience in Compensation, Business, Finance � 6+ years of direct compensation experience � Experience in compensation analytics and Mergers and Acquisitions strategies � Proven success managing a team and influencing stakeholders
