You will join a best-in-class validation team relentlessly driving the highest quality of EPG products with the most optimal cost via continuous improvement, learning and product mindset.
In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, it will include but not limited to:
Strategizing test approaches to achieve optimization of the resource and coverage
Validating-debugging programmable network processor or microprocessor
Reviewing and analyzing the requirement documents and architecture specifications to understand the product
Interacting with marketing and architecture teams to understand the scalability and performance aspects and customer use case
Driving validation and coordinating validation strategy author programmable test-plan
Developing automation strategy and applying state of the art automation technology to automate testcases and executing automated debug and automated triage
Managing and guiding remote team members to get test plan defined and executed according to plan as well as providing technical guidanc
Independently being able to manage and coordinate works and plan with other BU counterparts at Intel
Leading or managing SW validation-testing projects
Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of Industry job relevant experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field.
6+ years of experience in validation and debug of network software
2+ years of experience in open stack, programmable device, programmable pipeline, DPDK, SDN controllers or network protocols
3+ years of experience in OOP design with scripting languages like "Python" on various OS platforms
5+ years of experience with software testing and test methodology (i.e. functional, integration, usage model, regression, or performance testing)
4+ years of experience in various testing tools like iperf, netperf, or Ixia packet analyzers
Master's degree is preferred
