There's an exciting opportunity for a professional Bookkeeper through Accountemps at a growing firm. Offered as a a long-term temporary opportunity, this Bookkeeper position will be based in the Lake Oswego, Oregon area.

What you get to do every single day

• Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Appease accounts by balancing entries

• Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

• Conduct and manage the general ledger

• Support quality archived records by filing documents

• Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

• Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

• Payroll exposure

• Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Well-founded grasp of general ledger

• General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Quickbooks Online experience

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements highly desired

• Intermediate proficiency with 10 Key Typing

• Proven knowledge of journal entries

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
