Seeking CNC Machinists to join our world class machine shop:

RELOCATION REQIURED--within 40 miles of our Lebanon Oregon campus.

Schedule: Graveyard or Night Shift

Position Summary:Produces machined parts by setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

  • Check parts for conformance to specifications

  • May run more than one unit simultaneously

  • Build custom tooling / fixturing

  • Sets up, adjusts and checks out programming.

  • Performs a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring considerable skill

  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces during production machining

  • Set up tooling, fixturing and inspection equipment required for part types in production group

  • Knowledge and ability to read and use G & M code at the control

  • Ability to read and understand GD&T tolerancing

  • Perform maintenance duties

  • Communicate effectively with Lead person / supervisor

  • Self driven, consistently perform high quality work in a safe manner without supervision

  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

  • Utilize Continuous Improvement tools such as Lean, Kaizen, 5S, RIE’s and other work area standards

  • Represent ENTEK with the highest standard of professional conduct when interacting with employees and community

Required Experience:

Associates in Machine Tool Technology or related discipline

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Knowledge of machining techniques and methods.

  • Knowledge of computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures.

  • Ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications.
