Farwest CDL Driver in Medford, Oregon
Shift: Graveyard (10 PM ? 6 AM)
Route: Medford to Redding - (Pick up loaded trailer at Medford facility, meet Farwest driver in Redding, and swap for an empty trailer.)
Purpose of The Position: Deliver material to internal customers with the highest level of courtesy and respect and be a front-line representative of Farwest.
Operate a semi-truck and trailer in a safe and professional manner.
Comply with Federal requirements by maintaining equipment to ensure safe operation both on the road as well as off
Perform required equipment checks and see to all deficiencies are repaired and documented
Maintaining an accurate log book at all times, keeping a current CDL and DOT medical card
Deliver material on time and with professional attitude
Accurately pick up backhauls and fabricated material
Assist warehouse with loading and unloading, when necessary, to expedite processes
High School Diploma or equivalent required
5 years? Experience with Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement
Good driving record with tractor/trailer driving experience
Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English and have the ability to understand written and oral instruction
Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment with others in other our company and treat customers with courtesy and tact
Ability to make mathematical calculations
