Requirements:18 years of age due to travel. 3 months Commercial Brushsaw-Chainsaw experience. No minimum education requirement. Willing, qualified to perform work described and available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.Employer Notes:Legal authority to work in the U.S. Drug,Alcohol,Tobacco free work zone. All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit. Work site(s): Begin; Medford, Jackson County, OR paid $13.96-hour. Provided daily transportation to and from the worksite. Continue into States of AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA.Duties: Must walk substantially (up to 15 miles-day), also stoop, bend while carrying a pack (up to 50lbs) through rough terrain (non-trail). Tree planting, thinning, pruning, hand piling, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF FIRE SUPPRESSION OFFICERS OR FORESTRY TECHNICIANS: fight forest fires or perform prescribed burning tasks, fire protection, and suppression via clearing-disposing of brush, piling, and digging line-constructing fire breaks & other related Forest and Conservation Workersactivities as per SOC-OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org). Hours:The worker is guaranteed employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period. 7:00AM-3:00PM. 40+ to include lunch break Monday-Friday. Possible weekend-holiday work. (Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. If ovetime is worked, wage is paid at a rate of time and a half per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week.) Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate, possible downtime and-or OT. OT not required. This employer will also comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws pertaining to overtime hours. Wage Information:Will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Wage paid every two weeks. All deductions required by law will be done by the employer. $11.96-hr up to possible $23.46-hr OT $17.94-hr up to possible $35.19-hr. Wage may vary. DOE. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursementwill be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
