Our Medford, OR dealership, serving the southern Oregon area, is a Volvo and Mack franchise truck dealership, a heavy-duty truck parts and service facility, and an authorized Autocar, McNeilus & Cummins service center. We have an immediate opportunity for a customer and sales-driven New and Used Truck Sales Associate who wants to be part of continuing to drive our aggressive growth and status as a leader in the industry.

Company support in obtaining and maintaining your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
In this role your primary responsibilities will be to:
Develop internet & phone based leads professionally and aggressively. You must have excellent phone skills and follow up discipline to assure a strong chance of success.
Identify, profile, and call on prospective customers within assigned territory, developing and applying strategy as necessary to obtain orders. You must be comfortable with extensive cold calling.
Ensure customer satisfaction from start of sale to delivery of truck, resolving any issues that may occur.
Thoroughly complete all processes and required paperwork (quotes, call reports, truck transactions, financing, warranty, etc.).
Maintain contact with existing customers in relation to their needs; connect customers to other internal departments as needed (e.g., finance, service, parts, insurance, and collision center).
Stay up-to-date on inventory, market, and customer trends.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational/time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills – you must be persuasive and be able to engage potential customers
Ability to learn equipment specifications to communicate effectively with customers
Ability to build relationships with customers, source business, and achieve sales goals
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Current CDL B or ability to obtain CDL B within 120 days of employment and meet requirements to maintain license
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Previous successful sales experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Experience with class 7 & 8 truck sales
