Spread across more than 50 acres, our campus supports many teams with diverse responsibilities all working together to innovate, design, and produce creative, reliable, solutions for our customers. This on-campusMachine Maintenance Mechanicposition installs production machinery, performs preventative maintenance, and troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing machinery, which includes electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Incumbents may also perform fabrication and welding depending on project(s).
Installs new machines, aligning and adjusting for proper function, troubleshoots issues, and modifies machines as requested.
Maintains, rebuilds, repairs, cleans, and adjusts all types of production machinery throughout production departments. Orders or fabricates repairparts for production machines per blueprints, sketches, or verbal descriptions, and maintains records of repair and preventative maintenance.
Performs electrical maintenance and modifications that do not require the services of a journeyman electrician.
Loads, unloads, and moves machinery as requested.
Assists in training less experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanics.
Follows all safety guidelines, maintains an acceptable dependability level, and routinely uses a computer system to obtain information.
Generally requires 4-5 years of relevant work experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine installation and repair or equivalent training. There is an emphasis on the ability to repair and maintain CNC/NC equipment.
Must possess a current Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license.
Experience in parts fabrication from blueprints, sketches and verbal descriptions along with fabrication, MIG, TIG, and Gas welding experience.
Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics along with the ability to sketch ideas for parts fabrication and machine repairs.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations for machine calibration, parts fabrication, etc.
