Lifeways is currently seeking a Full-time CADC to provide services for our inpatient recovery center in Ontario, OR. Summary: This person is responsible for providing individual and group counseling services to the residents at Lifeways Recovery Center, a 30 bed substance use residential program which includes social detox. This position will be providing services for an array of individuals suffering with chemical dependence. Will supply comprehensive knowledge and completion of ASAM's and subsequent treatment planning. They will provide participation and implementation of program goals and objectives to promote a strengths-based, client-centered approach to assisting clients in achieving personal goals. Will promote healthy life changes through facilitating group and individual therapy. Will need to portray strong abilities in problem resolution, client de-escalation, and provide a positive environment to assist clients in their success of recovery efforts. Possess quality organizational skills, produce timely and accurate documentation, and follow federal, state and inter agency regulations of ethics and confidentiality. Will need to communicate effectively and efficiently and provide the best quality customer service. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative while performing the following job duties. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job: - Provides direct and indirect services to individuals in a manner consistent with rehabilitation and recovery principles - Conduct substance use treatment assessments to include urinalyses testing. - Determine medical necessity of detoxification and level of care within ASAM criteria. - Produce accurate documentation demonstrating clinical knowledge that is in alignment with protocols and regulations. Interact with the service population providing individual and group therapy. Provide educational presentations on substance abuse and other related issues. Service planning, file management and record keeping per OAR'S and program policy. Provide culturally appropriate services, implemented within the context of social, cultural, racial, gender-specific sensitivity and understanding Participate in clinical staff meetings. Assess ongoing needs of individuals and make appropriate referrals. Provide immediate crisis intervention and assistance in developing safety plans. Participate in weekly supervision sessions with Clinical Supervisor.
