Lifeways is currently seeking a full-time Executive Director for Malheur County. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. - Provides day-to-day leadership and management of assigned teams and departments in alignment with the mission and core values of the organization. - Provide supervision for clinical and administrative staff either directly or through assigned supervisors. - Provide a working environment that promotes staff engagement. - Leads behavior health clinical staff recruitment planning and implementation. - Works collaboratively with other departments to provide integrated care. - Creates workflows and an environment that promotes a positive patient experience. - Manages staff to meet and exceed assigned performance goals and quality standards. - Provides assigned staff with regular performance reviews. - Responsible for ensuring region's program capital and operating budgets are created and monitored by clinical directors and/or program administrators. - Analyzes and interprets variance reports and adjusts budget accordingly. - Develops and implements appropriate fiscal improvements to assist programs with meeting and/or exceeding goals. - Leads efforts to maximize appropriate opportunities for reimbursement of behavioral health services. - Ensure that all assigned services are compliant with all agency policies, procedures and guidelines, as well as applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. - Evaluates the need for new or enhanced Behavior Health programming and services with detailed implantation plans in alignment with strategic aims. - Maintains detail working knowledge of state and regional behavior health and substance use disorders systems, and participates in regional stakeholder's meetings. - Provides leadership and direction in the development or modification of agency and program policies and procedures. Communicates changes to staff and monitors for compliance. - Oversees regional program's participation in the Quality/Risk Management activities and Quality Improvement program. Monitors and implements quality assurance reviews and improvements. - Maintains focus on the potential to implement or enhance integration of services with other agency clinical services. - Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with local, state and regional partners, including managed care organizations. - Represents agency at local, state and federal agencies, conferences and other meetings regarding matters of interest or effect to Lifeways at the request of the CEO or COO - Perform other duties as assigned.
