Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree with 24 quarter (16 semester) hours of accounting courses and two years of accounting experience*; OR a CPA or PA certificate and two years of accounting experience*; OR 24 quarter (16 semester) or 240 clock hours of accounting courses and three years of accounting experience*. All courses must be from accredited colleges, universities, or private vocational schools. Transcripts must be submitted for all required and/or related courses. Additional Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience in accounting procedures; conduct accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and other income tracking and management. Experience developing, managing and monitoring budgets. Experience working with grants and contracts. Demonstrated proficiency in use of computers, including spreadsheets, data management and word processing programs. Proficiency with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Publisher and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro. Ability to adapt to changing technological environment Demonstrated ability to effectively work with teams. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write and communicate in a professional manner. Ability to effectively edit documents to ensure accuracy, proper use of grammar and ease of reading. Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact well with co-workers, faculty, volunteers, and the public. Demonstrable, positive customer service experience. Work both independently and collaboratively. Must maintain the highest level of accuracy and be detail oriented. Must be organized and able to follow through with all processes and projects to completion. Ability to handle multiple tasks with rigid deadlines. Exercise sound judgment and proactively problem-solve. Maintain the strictest confidentiality and professionalism. A demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.
