The Division of Vascular Surgery at OHSU provides excellent patient care while maintaining educational and research-rich programs that train surgeons and researchers and enhance their understanding of the vascular system. A special interest in quality outcomes and measurement drives much of the division’s research and they have a thriving vascular and endovascular fellowship program.
OHSU’s vascular surgeons operate out of the Knight Cardiovascular Institute.
Participating in education of residents, interns, and medical students assigned to the Division of Vascular Surgery
Participating in administrative committees of OHSU and Department of Surgery
Engaging in public service for the benefit of OHSU
Obtaining grants and gifts for scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of causes, prevention, detection and treatment of vascular disease
Participating in other research at OHSU relating to vascular disease processes
Providing patient care activities which fall under the scope of the Division of Vascular Surgery at OHSU Hospital and Portland Veterans Administration Medical Center
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certification
Current Oregon Board of Medical Examiners License
Receipt of medical staff privileges at OHSU
