WorkSource Oregon Budget Analyst in Portland, Oregon

Job Requirements: - 4 year degree in Finance, Business and/or Accounting with work experience (3 plus years) in budgeting, financial analysis and basic knowledge of GAAP. MBA a plus. If no degree, must have at least 7 years' experience directly related to budgeting, financial analysis and experience helping programs become more profitable. - Excellent computer skills using Excel and functional knowledge of Outlook, Word, Power Point, etc. Must have ability to master proprietary software, Access, Power BI, including electronic health record systems and report writing functions. - Effective communication skills both orally and written with multiple levels of management in the organization and maintain a cooperative working relationship with other in a culturally diverse environment. - Must be detail oriented and have the ability to keep track of and understand over 160 different budgets (programs) and the requirements of the funding for them. - Extensive experience developing and enacting organizational budgets while considering funding sources, opportunities for growth and changes in funding and expenditures. Job Duties: - LifeWorks NW is looking for someone who likes to be challenged, works independently, wants to make a difference and is skilled in budgeting and leading financial turnaround plans. - This person will work directly with the CFO in the annual budgeting process as well as continuing to monitor service programs, identifying when programs are not within budget and being responsible for initiating turnaround meetings and tracking progress.
