We are looking for an independent, self-starter to develop new business and gain market share for Johnstone Northwest. The BDR will meet and exceed sales goals by prospecting for new business and growing share of wallet with existing customers. The BDR will be a professional representative of Johnstone Supply who helps customers meet their own business goals through product and programs offered by Johnstone.
As a BDR, you will:
Collaborate with the regional Territory Managers and Branches to prospect and data mine in order to increase market share with contractors in the region.
Conduct sales calls directly with prospects and existing customers.
Work with the Sales & Marketing team to bring customers the best promotional deals.
Identify business needs of customers and show them how Johnstone solutions will bring additional value to their business.
Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the Johnstone products through company provided training and self-directed study of new products, literature, promotions, and industry publications
Work as part of a team that ensures a great customer experience.

Salary DOE in outside sales and HVAC(R) plus commission
To succeed in your role as a BDM, you will bring with you:
Success in inside B2B sales – ideally in the HVAC/R trade.
a proven track record of exceeding sales plans and performance goals.
the ability to establish rapport quickly with customers in person, by telephone or in writing and can translate that connection into orders for products and services.
The ability to communicate professionally and persuasively in writing and orally.
intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office Products – in particular: Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
College degree preferred.
