Responsibilities. Like every member of the Apex Team, your role is key to the company’s success. While the day-to-day responsibilities will vary, you will:
Use company truck to mobilize to client project sites;
Use company smart phone and technology to document your field activities;
Inspect, maintain, and repair stormwater BMPs and wastewater lift stations;
Identify and diagnose equipment problems; scope and perform repairs;
Perform varied construction work including operation of hand-held and heavy equipment;
Oversee and coordinate subcontractor activity.
Ensure safe work practices.
Achieve and maintain OSHA certifications (e.g., HazWoper, Confined-Space Entry)

Great minds think alike! Now that we understand each other, let’s sort through the minimum qualifications for this position:
GED or High School Diploma.
OSHA HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry certification.
3 or more years of construction experience including operation of heavy construction equipment (e.g. skip loader, backhoe, excavator) and hand tools.
Ability to work independently and provide subcontractor oversight.
Able to perform construction work including:
Ability to Lift 60lbs
Work in Confined Spaces
Work in Inclement Weather
Broad base of experience in areas such as, excavation, lift station maintenance, pump inspection/maintenance, petroleum tank (AST) experience.
Knowledge of sediment and erosion control.
General carpentry and plumbing experience is helpful.
Excellent driving and strong workplace safety record.
Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations
